The term kaiso is said to derive from an Ibibio/Efik word meaning "get on" used as an exclamation, such as "Bravo!", "Let us join".[1] It can also mean "Let us be friends" in Igbo Anambra dialect. Kaiso is also one of the musical genres in Trinidad and Tobago. We created a modern cultural pattern incorporating the colors of the twin islands.
